Tell us about yourself and how you got here.
I got lost in the Corporate Banking world for a while. I saw the light, went back to study and ended up working in Outdoor Education and Community Development. I then met my wife and she dragged me back to her homeland as a ‘souvenir’.
Can you tell us something cool about your local area?
At the end of my street there is the most amazing reserve. Not many people go there and it backs on to the Swan River. It’s kind of a hidden gem within the city. Such a fantastic place to walk our doggies in the morning.
What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
I suppose I am an analyst and a thinker. I can at times overthink things so I have to try hard not to do this. I like to spend a lot of time pondering.

What is your favourite way to spend a Saturday?
Riding my mountain bike up in the Perth Hills – I love it. But generally getting outdoors, being active and spending time with friends and family are all key elements of what a good life looks like to me.
