Welcome to Inclusion WA

We are a community service organisation with a proud 20 year history.  We work alongside individuals who are disadvantaged, disconnected from society or living with a disability to help them live the best possible life.

We also work alongside community groups to make them more accessible for people living with disabilities.

Ultimately, we want a community in which everyone feels welcome; is respected and recognised for having something valuable to offer.

Why Social Inclusion?

You may be wondering what social inclusion is and why it is so important. At Inclusion WA, making sure people are ‘included’ is at the forefront of everything we do.

Inclusion is about being part of a whole, having the opportunity to take risks, have choices, make mistakes, be independent as possible and enjoy participating in recreation, arts, sport and leisure alongside other people in the community.

You can find out more about what social inclusion is here.

"We wholeheartedly believe in the importance of social inclusion and the many benefits it can offer individuals and communities, including improved physical and mental wellness, an enhanced sense of belonging, stronger networks of social support and economic advantages arising from a healthy society."

How We Work

We work to build the capacity of the community and create, lasting, sustainable connections that ensure each individual is not just present in their community, but included in it.

We work in a flexible way/the way we work is different every time.

We build the capacity of the community.

We want to ensure that the connections and changes are lasting and sustainable.

Everyone has a valued role, they aren’t just present in their community - they are part of it.
